• Learning Progress: Completed lessons, quiz scores, Kahoot activity, certificates achieved, and course feedback.
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and log data collected via standard session cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To activate and manage your student account and provide access to your purchased courses.
• To authenticate your identity, process payments, and issue invoices.
• To generate verified certificates of completion in your legal name.
• To send essential transactional notifications (order confirmation, password reset, quiz announcements).
• To respond to your support tickets and resolve technical queries.

3. Third-Party Payment Gateway (Cashfree)

We partner with Cashfree Payments India Private Limited to process payments securely. When making a payment on VMS:

• Your sensitive card and payment details are encrypted using 256-bit SSL technology and sent directly to Cashfree's PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant servers.
• VMS only receives a transaction confirmation token, payment status, and order ID to unlock course access.

4. Cookies & Session Storage

We use functional cookies to maintain your login session, remember your learning preferences, and secure against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may prevent you from staying logged in to your courses.

5. Data Retention & User Rights

We retain your profile and course completion data for as long as your account remains active. You have the right to:

• Access and update your profile information from your account settings.
• Request an export of your course completion certificates and history.
• Request the deletion of your account and personal records by contacting our support team at admin@vmsclass.com.
